Applicant Information

One of the strengths, and a distinctive feature, of the Cambridge teaching system is that, as well as the formal lectures and practical sessions, you will benefit from small group teaching arranged by your College. These sessions are known as 'supervisions' and are held at regular intervals, typically you will have two or three each week.

Supervisions allow you and perhaps a couple of partners partners to talk through problems and gain further insight into the subject through discussion with a supervisor. You will also be in small groups for your practical sessions and your work will be marked and discussed with the member of staff in charge of that particular assignment.
